“At the beginning of this RPJPD, evaluation based on accurate data is very important to ensure that planning is not done speculatively,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of BPS Samosir, Devita Norani Saragih, appreciated the role of OPD in implementing the 2024 Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS).
She emphasized the importance of the One Data Indonesia principle in improving data quality.
“Sectoral statistics are needed for internal agency needs and future development. Coaching and evaluation will continue to be carried out every year to measure the quality of statistical implementation,” explained Devita.

Therefore, synergy and collaboration are the keys to advancing Samosir Regency.
As the Data Guardian, the Head of the Communication and Information Service, Immanuel Sitanggang, emphasized the need to improve the quality and speed of data presentation by OPD.
“There are five assessment domains in EPSS, including the One Data Indonesia principle, data quality, statistical business processes, institutions, and national statistics, which cover 19 aspects and 38 indicators. OPD must conduct periodic reviews to ensure the sustainability of improving data quality,” said Immanuel.
With strong synergy between OPD and BPS, Samosir Regency is optimistic that it can improve the quality of statistical data that will have a direct impact on the progress of regional development. [Hatoguan Sitanggang/***]
