Additional Support from SAR Team and Challenges at the Location

This additional personnel is crucial considering the thickness of the landslide material and the difficult terrain at the disaster location.
The Police Chief appreciates the synergy of all parties involved in this process, starting from the Police, TNI, BPBD, to volunteers.
“Collaboration between various parties is the main key in dealing with emergency situations like this,” he said.

The search will resume tomorrow, Monday (11/25/2024), starting at 08.00 WIB. This decision was taken to ensure the safety of the evacuation team.
Police Chief Eko also appealed to the public to increase vigilance, considering that high rainfall still has the potential to trigger further landslides.
“We ask for prayers from the entire community so that the evacuation process runs smoothly and all victims can be found soon,” he said.
With this challenging situation, great hopes are directed at the evacuation team so that this humanitarian mission can be completed as well as possible. [RE/***]
