2024 Aquabike Jetski World Championship on Lake Toba successfully makes history
AKBP Yogie Hardiman began by expressing his gratitude for the smooth security of Aquabike 2024.
He considered the success of the international event to be the result of hard work and solid synergy between the Samosir Police and the North Sumatra Police.
“Praise and gratitude we offer to God. The security of the event went quite well. However, evaluations still need to be carried out to provide the best service to the community,” said the Chief of Police.
According to AKBP Yogie, this success shows that Lake Toba, especially Samosir Regency, is increasingly trusted as a destination for international events.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining this momentum, especially since Samosir Regency has been trusted to host F1 H2O in early 2025.
“This is the trust of the world community that we must maintain together,” he said.
The Chief of Police also highlighted the positive impact of holding Aquabike 2024, especially on the local economy.
He appreciated the enthusiasm of residents who also took advantage of the moment to trade local products.
“We see many residents selling their products, and visits from guests from outside the region have a positive effect on the Samosir economy,” he said.
AKBP Yogie reminded all personnel to maintain their health amidst an increasingly busy work schedule, including preparations for securing the simultaneous regional election stages.
“Take care of your health because our duties are still long. Service to the community must remain optimal,” he said. [Hatoguan Sitanggang/***]
